An Oakland yoga instructor who said her dog was stolen out of her car while she taught class was returned after a family bought the Australian terrier without realizing he had been dognapped.

Whitney Walsh told KTVU that the family saw one of the many missing dog fliers she had plastered around town and called her up on Friday to return her stolen pet.

Zephyr was taken on Oct. 2 as Walsh taught class at Left Coast Power Yoga.

She had offered a $5,000 reward and hired a private investigator to help find her pooch. On Monday, Walsh said she gave the family some of the reward money because they didn't want it all, and she put microchps in Zephyr, and her cat.
