Dr. Ben Carson talks to KTVU about the upcoming Iowa Caucus

DES MOINES, Iowa (KTVU) - The first vote of the 2016 presidential campaign is Monday, with the Iowa Caucuses.

KTVU political reporter, Ross Palombo appeared live from Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday's Mornings on 2.

He had a live interview with Republican Presidential Candidate, Dr. Ben Carson, during the newscast.

He is in fourth place in Iowa, according to a poll by Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm.

Donald Trump leads with 31-percent, followed by Texas Senator Ted Cruz at 27-percent, Florida Senator Marco

Rubio at 13-percent, and Dr. Carson with 7-percent, and Jeb Bush at 6-percent.

Carson talked to Palombo, about the race, and his appeal to voters.
