SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. —
To shave, or not to shave, that’s the question Gillette raised to couples in San Francisco Wednesday afternoon. The razor company was in town to invite couples to kiss in-person - with and without stubble - to uncover which kiss is best: a kiss with stubble or smooth shaven skin.
They were first asked a few questions in an introductory interview, then kissed with stubble. The Men then shaved and the couples kissed again. A short follow-up survey was conducted to determine which is truly more kissable. Prizes were awarded to all who puckered up: free Gillette swag for the guys and a CoverGirl LipPerfection Jumbo Gloss Balm for the ladies.
“Actually, without stubble is better,” said one woman who arrived early to the experiment with her boyfriend. “It’s all scratchy on my face sometimes; I mean, I don’t mind it, but I prefer it to be nice and smooth.”
