One of the biggest musicals to hit Broadway in the last several years, Wicked racked up winner 14 major awards including three Tonys when it took Manhattan by storm in 2003. The musical by Stephen Schwartz (PippinGodspell and Pocahontas) and Winnie Holzman (writer for television hits My So-Called Life and thirtysomething) tells the story of two girls in the Land of Oz.

One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. How these unlikely friends end up as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch makes for the most spellbinding new musical in years. Wicked returns to the city for the second time since its pre-Broadway world premiere run when the musical settles in at the Orpheum Theatre for a four-week engagement that follows its last record-breaking run that ended in the fall of 2010.
