Pink Martini

Originally formed as a "little orchestra" by pianist and founder Thomas M. Lauderdale, Portland, OR-based group Pink Martini explores intricate arrangements and romantic sounds of golden-era 1940s Hollywood while bringing in elements of classic French pop, vocal jazz, Latin soul and sultry samba. Fronted by talented singer China Forbes, the group has grown to a 12-piece ensemble since the release of its 1997 debut album.

Performing regularly with backing from symphony orchestras around the world, the group has built a loyal following with its sophisticated sound and original mix of global influences. Celebrate the holiday season with the ensemble when they share the stage with the San Francisco Symphony at Davies Symphony Hall. Their all-inclusive, multi-cultural concert showcases an intoxicating mix of cabaret, samba, and jazz. Enjoy the band’s popular favorites along with holiday classics such as "White Christmas," "Silent Night," at these yuletide-themed shows.
