Ex-Disneyland employee sentenced for trying to trade tickets for sex with a minor

ANAHEIM, Calif (KTVU) --  A former Disneyland resort employee in Anaheim was sentenced to a year in jail Friday, after trying to trade theme park tickets for sex with a minor.

Darreck Michael Enciso, 27, worked as a dishwasher at the Disneyland resort.

In July, Huntington Beach Police saw an ad on craigslist, offering amusement park tickets in exchange for sex.
Prosecutors say an undercover officer responded, by posing as a 14-year-old girl.

When Enciso showed up to the arranged meeting, he was immediately arrested. He later pleaded guilty to a felony count of attempted lewd act upon a child, one felony count of contacting a child with the intent to commit a specified sex crime, and one felony count of meeting a minor with the intent to engage in lewd contact, according to a news release from the Orange County District Attorney's Office.

Enciso also received 5 years probation, and will be registered as a lifetime sex offender.
