Despite the Facebook CEO saying no to the question, the rumors and signs still exist that Mark Zuckerberg could be plotting a bid for president of the United States.

Fox News reporter Peter Doocy reports there are several telltale actions that Zuck has taken to indicate a possible run for leader of the free world.

1. He’s posted photos of himself eating local fare with residents of early voting states.
2. He’s participated in photo ops on factory floors and shot hoops in swing states.
3. He recently hired Clinton pollster Joel Beneson to work at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and he’s already hired Obama campaign guru Davide Plouffe.
Still, all this is speculation. And all this could simply mean he’s trying to make his company more politically relevant.

“For an engineer and business tycoon to, all of a sudden, be kind-of hanging out with regular people, it does send a lot of political messages,” Matt Schlapp, President George W. Bush’s former political director, told Fox News. “This is clearly political activity. Is it just to further popularize Facebook? Or is there a more personal goal here?”
