Firefighters contain San Jose vegetation fire

SAN JOSE (BCN) - Firefighters have contained a vegetation fire Monday morning in South San Jose.

At 3:25 a.m., firefighters arrived on scene near Bailey Avenue and Santa Teresa Boulevard, according to Fire Capt. Tre Thierry.

No structures were threatened. The blaze burned about four acres, Thierry said.

At about 4:45 a.m., Thierry said the fire was close to being extinguished.

The cause for the fire remains under investigation.
