Frontier Airlines cancels flights

Frontier Airlines has canceled flights across the country, and travelers were left stranded.

The Denver Post reports Frontier canceled about 200 flights nationwide Sunday because of a winter storm, and that includes some Bay Area flights.

On Monday morning, one man at SFO told KTVU his family was stranded Sunday night at the airport, and they had to reschedule their entire vacation.

Frontier Airlines posted a message on Facebook offering refunds for the canceled flights.

SFO says two flights were canceled Monday. One was to Orlando and the other was headed to Chicago.

The airline's statement says, "The flights at SFO have been impacted by the snowstorm in Denver over the weekend. We've been working to reposition both crew and aircraft that were affected by the storm."

Additional details have not been released.
