Giant inflatable chicken resembling President Donald Trump placed near White House

- A 30-foot tall giant inflatable chicken appearing to resemble President Donald Trump was placed near the White House on Wednesday.

Taran Singh Brar, a documentary filmmaker, said he is behind the inflatable in which he has named “Chicken Don.” He told FOX 5’s Ronica Cleary he has named this massive chicken similarly to the names that Trump has previously used during his presidential campaign such as “Little Marco” and “Lyin’ Ted.”

Brar said he did get permission from the Secret Service and the National Park Service to place the inflatable chicken on the Ellipse.

The chicken-likeness of Trump has been seen in other parts of the country and Brar said he came up with the idea back in March to bring it to the nation’s capital.

“It means that the president is too afraid to release his tax returns, he is too afraid to stands to up [Vladimir] Putin, and he is playing a game of chicken with North Korea, and yet he wants a military parade in Washington D.C.? It seems kind of bizarre and signs of a weak and insecure leader,” he said. “What they say is that an image speaks a thousand words and this image does very well at piercing through and presenting Trump as the ineffective leader he is.”

Brar also has a GoFundMe page seeking to raise $10,000 to pay for the logistics to move multiple versions of the chicken around the country.

The president was not at the White House on Wednesday as he is currently on vacation in New Jersey.
