Great white shark gives San Francisco crew the thrill of lifetime

A crew with Golden State Sportfishing hooked a big fish that dragged their boat around the bay for about 30 minutes this weekend.

They battled to reel it in for about an hour on Saturday.

But it wasn't just a soupfin on the end of the line.

A great white shark had a hold of the fish in its jaws. The fishermen, who shared the video, said it was at least six feet long.

"Today will go down in history for Golden State Sportfishing as one of the best days ever!" the group wrote on Facebook.

Great whites are protected so catching one is illegal. Joey Gomez took some videos and then quickly released it back into the water.
