Stunning images of glowworms in New Zealand cave
NEW ZEALAND (KTVU) - A photographer is sharing stunning photos from a cave in New Zealand.
The photos look like the scene of a beautiful star-lit sky. However, the photos actually capture limestone caves filled with glowworms.
The caves are located in the Waitomo area.
According to a post on BoredPanda photographer Shaun Jeffers writes, "Glow worms emit a phosphorescent glow that light up the cave and create a surreal environment."
He says he captured the photos using slow exposure times.
