SFPD: Man deliberately run over in SOMA parking lot

A 25-year-old man suffered major injuries after someone deliberately hit him with a car in a parking lot over the weekend, San Francisco police said.

The incident began when the victim got into an argument with four men in their 20s around 2 a.m. on Sunday, near Third and Harrison Streets in the South of Market neighborhood, investigators said.

Following the argument, the men got into a vehicle and struck the victim as they drove away, according to police.

The men were last seen driving north on Third Street toward westbound Harrison Street and the freeway.

No word on the description of the vehicle.

The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries described as life-threatening.
