Large power outages in Oakland, Berkeley, Emerville

As of 3:53 p.m., all customers are restored. 

PG and E is still investigating the cause.

Power outages are affecting over 41,000 customers in Oakland, Berkeley, and Emeryville Saturday afternoon.

The outages started around 1:30 p.m.

No cause has been identified and PG and E does not know when power will be restored. 

BART has stopped service at some San Francisco stations this afternoon due to a power outage, which left has left one train in the area stranded.

The power outage is happening at both the Glen Park and Balboa Park stations and currently there is no service between the Daly City Station and the 24th Mission Street Station, BART first officials said at 2:11 p.m.

Because of the power issues, one train has been stranded.

BART officials are working to get power back to the stations in order to get the train moving, according to BART.

The San Francisco Fire Department and BART police have responded and are ready to evacuate passengers from the train if power can't be restored to the area, BART officials said.

Because of the outage, BART is encouraging to riders to seek alternate transportation.
