SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The South Bay is preparing to be the center of college football madness, when it hosts the championship game next month.
Ahead of that, the Bay Area Host Committee is putting out a call for volunteers. The CFP championship game will be played Jan.7 at Levi's Stadium. Volunteers have to be at least 18 years old.
The minimum amount of time is at least three four-hour shifts. Volunteers will be outfitted with national championship jackets, hats and scarves. They're looking for about 1,000 volunteers, and the sign-up period is this week. If you want to sign up, click here.
