Oakland police are trying to figure out who shot a man Wednesday night shortly in the parking lot of the Oracle Arena shortly after a Warriors watch party ended.

Officers were called at 8:58 p.m. to the shooting in the parking lot of the coliseum at 7000 Coliseum Way.

About 30 minutes earlier, the Warriors beat the Cavaliers in Cleveland 110-102. Fans were watching Game 3 in Oakland on video and paid $20 to sit inside the arena to watch with others.

It's unclear if the shooting had any connection to people watching the game. Police did not release any more details.

USA Today reported that in a statement, AEG Facilities – the managers of Oracle Arena – said that after being "struck by a bullet in the parking lot" the victim was taken to a nearby hospital and that the man was in "stable but guarded condition."
