Authorities investigate officer-involved shooting in Hayward neighborhood
HAYWARD, Calif. (KTVU) - Authorities are investigating after an officer-involved shooting in a Hayward neighborhood.
It happened overnight on Falgren Avenue near Ricardo, just west of Interstate 880.
Alameda County deputies were chasing suspects in a stolen car. It ended, when the suspects drove into a court that's a dead end.
A person on the scene says the suspects turned around, and then apparently drove at a deputy, causing the deputy to open fire.
No one was hurt.
Three people were reportedly taken into custody.
At this point additional details have not been released.
