VIDEO: Sheriff frees dog with head stuck in a fence
GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (KTVU) - A sheriff’s deputy comes to the rescue in South Carolina when a dog managed to get his head lodged in a chain link fence.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office posted it on their Facebook page: “All in a day’s work.”
Despite a position that is undoubtedly uncomfortable for the pup, Master Deputy John Boyd has just the right touch to keep the dog calm – all of which is captured through a body camera.
As the officer kept working on pulling the fence apart, he took a few moments to rub the dog’s head and talk it through the situation.
And eventually, after a time-lapse shows the officer’s seemingly extensive efforts, the dog is freed and appears to be perfectly calm.
