Mudslide forces road closure in Marin County

FAIRFAX, Calif. (KTVU) -- - A mudslide in Marin County shut down Sir Francis Drake Boulevard early Wednesday morning.

The mud and rock slide was first reported overnight.

It is near Baywood Canyon Road in the town of Fairfax.

County road crews were out trying to clear the mud.

But even when the mud from this slide is gone, the road could remain shut down, because there is still a possibility that more mud will flow down.
