Medical staff line up to say goodbye and pay respect to organ donor

Medical staff at Saint Luke's Health System in Meridian, Indiana lined up to pay their respects to an organ donor.

The somber moment is known as the "walk of respect." It's a final goodbye to organ donors who give up their lives to help others.

It's also a way for staff to support families as they grieve.

In this video shot on Thursday, a man being wheeled down the hallway is a 53-year-old patient on life support. His family did not want to reveal his identity. They described him as a humble man who wouldn't want the attention. He is one of two organ donors who staff paid respect to last week.
