DETROIT (KTVU) - The singer of the national anthem before the Detroit Lions game took a knee as he finished singing today.
The move was in support of NFL players kneeling and protesting during the anthem.
Singer Rico LaVelle is an R&B singer from Detroit.
His sign of protest had mixed reviews on social media:
