SAN JOSE, Calif. —

The three men accused of murdering wealthy entrepreneur Raveesh Kumra in his Monte Sereno home appeared briefly before a judge in the Santa Clara County courthouse Friday afternoon.

None of the accused, Lukas Anderson, Javier Garcia and Deangelo Austin, entered pleas to any of the six felony counts against each of them -- murder, assault, robbery and residential burglary.

The defendants are charged with killing Kumra during a home invasion robbery on Nov. 30. Kumra's wife was beaten. The coroner will not say how Kumra was killed, and police are saying little.

Court records portray Kumra as a ruthless businessman, involved in shady dealings and having had a penchant for prostitutes.

A fourth person arrested is Raven Dixon. Reports indicate she is a prostitute who knew Kumra. She faces charges of accessory to murder.

The prosecutor said the plan is to try the three men together.

"One jury, you don't have to put officers on the stand three times [as a] witness," said prosecutor Anne Serry. "For judicial economy, you try them together. "

The defendants are due back in court Feb. 4. Monte Sereno-Los Gatos police said Friday that more arrests are possible; even likely.
