49ers fan allegedly stabs Falcons fan at Georgia Dome

ATLANTA —

A 49ers fan reportedly stabbed an Atlanta Falcons fan in the neck after the NFC Championship Game outside of the Georgia Dome on Sunday night.

A witness said a Falcons fan, who was upset about the team's loss, started fighting with a 49ers supporter in the parking lot. The argument escalated to violence when the Falcons fan punched the 49ers fan, who then pulled out a knife.

One of the two men was stabbed in the throat area and transported to a local hospital.

The condition of the person who was stabbed was unclear at this time.
