Cab driver stabbed outside MacArthur BART

OAKLAND, Calif. —

A cab driver was stabbed outside the Macarthur BART station in Oakland Saturday night.

The incident started after a man and a woman started arguing inside a BART train at around 7:15 p.m., according to Oakland police.

The woman got off the train and the man followed in pursuit.

According to Veteran's Cab Company the woman got into a cab and the man followed her inside.

The cab driver tried to intervene and ended up getting stabbed.

Another cab driver took him to the hospital where he was stable condition made.

The assailant escaped and there was no word on what happened to the woman.
