FOSTER CITY, Calif. —

The San Mateo County Coroner has been called to the scene of traffic collision in Foster City Sunday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 9:45 p.m. on eastbound state Highway 92 at the eastbound Foster City Boulevard offramp, according to the CHP.

Initial reports suggested a vehicle may have fled the scene after the collision.

Multiple ambulances appear to have been called to the scene, but a CHP official could not confirm the number of injuries.

Two lanes of eastbound Highway 92 just west of Foster City Boulevard and the Foster City Boulevard offramp have been closed due to the crash, officials said.
