Four suspects were arrested after challenging victims to a fight over gang-related reasons in Watsonville Friday night, police said.
At about 8:30 p.m., officers received a report of an armed fight on Airport Road in Watsonville.
Police arrived at the scene and located four victims who said that four male suspects has challenged them to a fight, shouted gang slogans, and brandished a shotgun before fleeing into a nearby residence.
Officers surrounded the residence and made contact with all four suspects.
The suspects, male Watsonville residents aged 17, 18, 22 and 36, were detained at the scene and identified by victims as the suspects, according to police.
Officers also located a loaded pistol pump action shotgun, a .44 caliber revolver and cocaine packaged for sales in a yard beside the residence.
The suspects were arrested on suspicion of challenging to fight in public with gang enhancements.
One suspect was also arrested for alleged possession for sales of a controlled substance and firearm violation, police said.
The three adult suspects were booked into the county jail and the 17-year-old was booked into juvenile hall, police said.
