SAN FRANCISCO —
A man was fatally stabbed in San Francisco's Outer Mission neighborhood on Thursday night, police said.
At about 9 p.m. Thursday, the 25-year-old victim was found lying on the street in the first block of Regent Street near Alemany Boulevard, according to police.
The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name was not yet being released this morning by the medical examiner's office.
No suspect information was immediately available in connection with the stabbing, police said.
The homicide is San Francisco's third of 2012.
