Man fatally stabbed at San Jose party early Friday morning

SAN JOSE, Calif. —

The fatal stabbing of a male victim early Friday morning in north San Jose took place during a graduation party at an insurance office, according to a relative of the victim.

The victim, whose name was not immediately being released, was attending the graduation celebration at the office of an insurance company called The Agency when the stabbing occurred, said Michael Tran, owner of the business.

Tram said the victim was his cousin.

The stabbing was reported shortly before 3 a.m. in the 1600 block of Oakland Road, police said.

Officers found a male victim suffering from at least one stab wound and had him transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:38 a.m., police said.
