Man turns himself in for allegedly shooting, killing family member

FREMONT, Calif. —

Fremont police are reporting a man shot and killed a family member Thursday night in Fremont.

Police responded to a home Pardee Court at around 5:25 p.m. and found a 48-year-old man shot to death.

The suspect, a family member, fled the home, police said.

Police searched the neighborhood and set up a perimeter, officials said.

The suspect later turned himself in at a Fremont police station, police said.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
