An elderly man missing from his San Jose home was found alive and well early Thursday morning at a Sunnyvale train station, a San Jose police sergeant said.
Yung Lee, 96, was reported missing Wednesday at 7:11 p.m. after he had last been seen that morning around 7:15 a.m. at his home in the 900 block of Orchid Way where he lives with his family, police said.
He was found sitting in the Sunnyvale Caltrain station around 3:30 a.m. by Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety officers, San Jose police Sgt. Jason Dwyer said.
Lee had gotten disoriented at some point during the day and wandered to the station, Dwyer said.
His family told police he usually rides a bus to the Korean American Community Center at 1800 Fruitdale Ave. but on Wednesday he never arrived.
He suffers from dementia and forgetfulness, and was considered at-risk.
