Police arrest 3 in suspicion of sexual assault on 13-year-old girl

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. —

Mountain View police are investigating a report of a sexual assault by multiple suspects on a young girl while she was intoxicated.

Police said the alleged assault occurred at Castro Park behind Miariano Castro Elementary School on the 500 block of Escuela Avenue as the victim, a 13-year-old girl, and the three suspects were drinking alcohol together. 

Detectives worked throughout the night and subsequently arrested two 17-year-old men and a 23-year-old old man named Mario Pinto from Sunnyvale for sexual assault, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing, and police said there are no other outstanding suspects.
