OAKLAND, Calif. —

Oakland firefighters said Saturday that they think someone may be torching cars after extinguishing an early morning blaze Saturday.

Crews were called to an apartment building on the 3300 block of Courtland Ave just before 4:30 a.m. Saturday.

When they arrived on scene, two vehicles in a carport were engulfed in flames.

It took firefighters about 15 minutes to bring the fire under control.

No one was hurt, but investigators were calling the car fires suspicious.
