Oakland police identify four recent homicide victims

OAKLAND, Calif. —

Oakland police Monday identified four of the six people who have been shot to death in the city since Wednesday night.

Aaron Marks, 19, was fatally shot in the 5900 block of San Pablo Avenue, near the Oakland-Emeryville border, at about 3 p.m. Saturday, police said.

Greysi Morales-Cordon, 18, was shot to death in the 1800 block of 28th Avenue shortly before 7 a.m. Saturday, according to police.

Kendrick Scott, 48, was fatally shot in the 1300 block of Willow Street at about 1:48 a.m. Friday, police said.

Jose Rivera Estrada, 33, was shot to death in the 5900 block of Hilton Street, near the intersection with Seminary Avenue, at about 9:39 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.

All four victims were Oakland residents.

Police aren't yet releasing the names of two women who were shot in the 3700 block of Brookdale Avenue, near Minna Avenue, just before 6 a.m. Saturday.

No arrests have been made in any of the rash of homicides.

Police said there have been 111 homicides in the city this year.

The total number of murders in the city last year was 103, according to police.
