VALLEJO, Calif. —

Vallejo police have identified the victim of a homicide on Sunday as 17-year-old Gary White of Richmond.

Police said Williams and a 19-year-old man got into a fight at a gathering in the area of 300 Robles Way around 3:30 a.m.

The 19-year-old had then called his father to pick him up, but when the father arrived, he allegedly pulled out a handgun and shot the 17-year-old, according to police.

Police responding to reports of gunfire found Williams dead at the scene.

Randee Demar Williams, 44, was identified as the shooter and was arrested at his home in the 1000 block of Thelma Avenue for White's murder, Lt. Jim O'Connell said.
