At about 3:20 a.m., San Francisco police responded to the 1700 block of Market Street near Haight Street on a 911 report of a stabbing, said San Francisco police Lt. Tim Plyer.
Upon arrival, officers located a victim who was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
