San Jose police have asked the public for help in locating a man suspected of being an accessory in the killing of 18-year-old Dashawn Brown, who was shot multiple times in San Jose last March.
Detectives allege that Vincent Duarte, 24, of San Jose, took part in the shooting of Brown in the 5100 block of Monterey Road on March 8, 2012, according to police.
The other suspect in Brown's murder, Reynaldo Ledesma, 20, of San Jose, has been arrested and remains in the Santa Clara County Jail, police said.
Police received a call about a man, later identified as Brown, suffering from a gunshot at 7:05 p.m.
Brown, who had multiple gunshot wounds, died at the Regional Medical Center of San Jose at 10:36 p.m.
The shooting was the result of a long-standing feud between Brown and at least one of the suspects, police said.
San Jose police are urging that anyone with information about Duarte to call the department's homicide unit at (408) 277-5283 or to remain anonymous to call Silicon Valley Crime Stoppers at (408) 947-7867.
