SANTA CRUZ, Calif. —

Santa Cruz police will give the public another opportunity to honor two fallen officers on Wednesday.

A public viewing for Sergeant Loran "Butch" Baker and Officer Elizabeth Butler will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Santa Cruz Memorial at 1927 Ocean St.

The viewing comes one day before a public memorial service scheduled for HP Pavilion in San Jose.

Thursday's procession is set to start at 8:45 a.m. in Santa Cruz. Participants will all be staging at the Third Street parking lot at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk.

The procession will then head north over Highway 17 to HP Pavilion in downtown San Jose. Authorities say that procession will cause rolling road closures along the route.
