SAN FRANCISCO —
Police in San Francisco Monday morning were searching for suspects in the fatal shooting of a teenage boy who was killed as he got off a Muni train.
The shooting shortly before 10 p.m. Monday night in the city’s Ingleside Heights neighborhood.
The young victim was shot and killed just after he was got off the eastbound M train after it stopped at the corner of Randolph and Bright streets north of I-280 and east of 19th Avenue.
Early Tuesday morning, crime scene tape was still up near the intersection.
Police canvassed the neighborhood Monday night trying to find any potential witnesses, but told KTVU that so far they have no motive and no suspect.
There were no video cameras in the area that might have captured the shooting.
The identity of the victim has not been released. SFPD said that they would be providing an update to the investigation at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning.
