Shooting injures three in North Richmond

RICHMOND, Calif. —

The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting in North Richmond tonight, a sheriff's spokesman said.

The shooting was reported at 5:55 p.m. at the corner of Fifth Street and Chesley Avenue, sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee said.

Deputies found two male shooting victims there who were transported to a hospital.

A third victim, a female, was dropped off at Doctor's Medical Center in San Pablo, Lee said.

The condition of the three victims has not been released.
