San Jose Police were investigating a "suspicious death" Saturday of a man who died from multiple stabbing wounds early that morning, according to police.
Officers received reports of the stabbing on 300 block of Indian Broom Drive near Carryback and Discovery avenues around 1:24 a.m., according to Ofc. Albert Morales, public information officer for the San Jose Police Department.
Upon arrival at the scene, responding officers found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
At around 2:12 a.m., he was pronounced dead from his injuries, Morales said.
Despite earlier reports, police did not rule the man's death as a homicide, according to Morales.
"Homicide detectives and the coroner responded to the scene as a matter of protocol. No other information is being released at this time," said Morales in a written statement.
