Police have released a sketch of a male suspect wanted in connection with the kidnapping and robbery of a woman on September 9 in the Warm Springs area of Fremont.
According to police, at about 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 9, a woman arrived home and exited her vehicle at a condominium complex in the vicinity of Mission Boulevard and Mohave Drive, when an unknown suspect approached her with a handgun.
The suspect pointed the handgun at the victim and told her to do what he said. He ordered her to get back into the vehicle and drive a short distance, police said.
The suspect mentioned to the victim that his friend had just been shot and that people were looking for him, police said.
According to police, the suspect then made the victim stop her vehicle. He took her money and fled the scene.
The victim was physically unharmed, police said.
