SSF girl shot, injured near Capuchino High School

SAN BRUNO, Calif. —

A 16-year-old girl was shot and injured near Capuchino High School in San Bruno Saturday night, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.

The shooting occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. when shots were reported near Santa Teresa Way and Park Blvd, across the street from the high school, sheriff's office spokeswoman Rebecca Rosenblatt said Sunday.

The girl, a resident of South San Francisco, appeared to have been on the street at the time of the shooting, Rosenblatt said. She was in stable condition as of Sunday morning.

No suspect description or further information was available Sunday, Rosenblatt said.
