DALY CITY, Calif. —

Daly City police spent hours at the scene of a crash that killed three people late Saturday night.

Officers responded to the 100-block of Eastmoor Ave just before 8:15 p.m. after receiving reports of a collision there.

Police arrived to find that a car had “t-boned” another.

The driver in the first car wasn't hurt, but of the four people in the vehicle that was hit, three had to be extricated by firefighters, according to North County Fire Authority spokesman Matt Lucett.

Three were pronounced dead at the scene and a fourth was taken to a nearby hospital with life threatening injuries.

The cause of that wreck was still under investigation Sunday morning.
