SAUSALITO, Calif. —

A woman crashed a gray Ford pickup truck into a 7-Eleven store in Sausalito on Tuesday night, causing damage but no injuries, police said.

The crash happened shortly after 8:30 p.m. at the 7-Eleven at 1901 Bridgeway.

"She was attempting to park and pulling into the parking lot, and the vehicle went into the front of the store," police Sgt. Bill Fraass said.

He said police are still investigating what caused the woman, a Sausalito resident, to accelerate through the storefront.

"The majority of the truck did go into the store," Fraass said.

A video posted online by a passerby shows the front of the truck resting against the refrigerated food section and a distressed blonde woman who appears to be the driver talking on a cellphone.

Fraass said the window has since been boarded up.

Store employee Rishi Golen said he was not there when the crash happened, but said the truck had missed the cashier stand by several feet.

His coworker who was on duty was unhurt and was initially concerned for the driver's well-being, Golen said.

"He was asking, 'Ma'am, are you all right?'" Golen said.

The woman said she was OK, he said.
