Police have arrested two people in connection with a shooting in Gilroy Wednesday that left one man dead and another critically injured, according to police.
Investigators are seeking one other man in connection with the shooting in the 7300 block of Chestnut Street at 8:53 p.m.
Police arrested two Gilroy residents, Jose Morales Cortez, 21, and a 17-year-old boy whose name has not been released.
They are continuing to search for 21-year-old Juan Guerra of Gilroy, described as 5 feet tall and weighing 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Guerra is considered armed and dangerous, police said.
The three are alleged to be involved in the shooting that killed 30-year-old Jesse Emmanuel Silos of Firebaugh, Calif. and injured a 37-year-old Gilroy resident who is expected to survive.
