Two killed and four injured in multiple shootings

OAKLAND, Calif. —

Oakland police responded to multiple shootings Saturday night and early Sunday morning that left two dead and four injured, police said.

The most violent incident happened in the 1700 block of 20th Avenue at 1:48 a.m.

A total of four people were shot, leaving one dead, another in critical condition, and two others injured in stable condition.

Shortly before that, in the 3400 block of Ettie Street, another person was shot and killed. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another person was injured in the 2400 block High Street at 10:30 p.m. Saturday. That victim was transported to a local hospital and was in stable condition Sunday.
