Two men injured in Antioch drive-by shooting expected to survive

ANTIOCH, Calif. —

Two men shot in a drive-by shooting in an Antioch neighborhood Monday morning are expected to survive, police said.

The shooting was reported in front of a home in the 2300 block of Mandarin Way at 10:17 a.m.

Police found two victims, a 28-year-old Antioch man and a 26-year-old Richmond man, suffering gunshot wounds there.

Both victims were transported to a hospital, but neither victim's injuries were life-threatening, according to police.

Anyone with information about the shooting has been asked to call acting Sgt. Castillo at (925) 779-6933.
