Woman badly beaten in SF park

SAN FRANCISCO —

 A 64-year-old woman was beaten unconscious by another woman in San
Francisco's Outer Parkside neighborhood on Tuesday night, police said.

   The attack was reported at 10:02 p.m. in the 2200 block of 48th
Avenue.

   A witness saw a woman in her late 20s or early 30s punching and
kicking the victim, according to police.

   When the witness went to break up the fight, the suspect fled in a
blue 2000 Ford van. She had not been found as of this morning, police said.

   The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be
treated for her injuries, which are not considered life-threatening.
