SAN FRANCISCO —
A 64-year-old woman was beaten unconscious by another woman in San Francisco's Outer Parkside neighborhood on Tuesday night, police said.
The attack was reported at 10:02 p.m. in the 2200 block of 48th Avenue.
A witness saw a woman in her late 20s or early 30s punching and kicking the victim, according to police.
When the witness went to break up the fight, the suspect fled in a blue 2000 Ford van. She had not been found as of this morning, police said.
The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for her injuries, which are not considered life-threatening.
Anyone with information about the attack is encouraged to call the Police Department's anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
