OAKLAND, Calif. —
One person was taken to a hospital after a shooting in Oakland Friday afternoon, police said.
The shooting was reported at around 3:40 p.m. near the corner of 65th Avenue and International Boulevard.
Police found a male victim inside a car suffering from five or six gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition, according to police.
Police said there was a rolling gun battle between two cars that stretched from 57th to 65th streets along International Blvd.
International Blvd. was still clossed as of 5 p.m. between 66th and 64th streets.
No suspect information was immediately available.
Police said the investigation was causing traffic delays in the area.
