SAN FRANCISCO —

Once again KTVU Channel 2 will join the non-profit organization One Warm Coat for a donation drive the day after Thanksgiving.

At the Santana Row Shopping Center in San Jose, the Bay Street Shopping Center in Emeryville, the Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek and the Ferry Building in San Francisco -- KTVU will partner with One Warm Coat to collect clothing for the needy.

Come out any time between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Friday and meet some of your favorite on-air personalities and help the homeless.

One Warm Coat started in the Bay Area in 1992 and is now a national effort. Over the last 20 years, 3 million coats have been collected and distributed.

The mission is simple: providing anyone who needs a coat with a coat.
